Burnt baked beans in the bungalow, Clotted cream cooling on the ledge, Christmas puddings & the annual stirring, Aluminium pans! My memories of Mum - food! Cheese scones, lardy cake (not lately) Hot cross buns Cranberry juice. My last mouthful to her - gooseberry fool Mmmmm..... lovely, she said And licked her dry lips.
